Privacy Policy

Last updated April 12, 2026

TaskSwipe is built on a simple principle: your tasks are yours. The app runs entirely on your device and we have no interest in your data, because we never see it.

What we collect

Nothing.

TaskSwipe does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. All data you enter (your tasks, notes, and settings) is stored locally on your device and never leaves it.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Your task list and task content
  • App preferences and settings (such as deck locking during timer)
  • Usage streaks and completion history

This data is under your full control. Deleting the app removes all of it permanently.

Third-party services

TaskSwipe does not use:

  • Analytics or tracking SDKs
  • Advertising networks
  • Cloud sync or backup services
  • Crash reporting tools that transmit data off-device

Device permissions

TaskSwipe does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive device capability.

If a future version of the app requests any permission, this policy will be updated and you will be notified before the update is installed.

Children’s privacy

TaskSwipe does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for use by all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way (for example, if a future version of the app introduces optional cloud features), we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app’s release notes.
